Dense nose of dark chocolate chips, black olives, wood, spices.
Incredibly well mature. Still quite filling in the mouth. Mellow tannic grip. Dark fruit, forest floor, cocoa. Power and finesse.
Producer tasting notes: “Intense colour, deep ruby red slightly garnet red. The nose is intense with different scents, with characteristic notes of red berries, as sour cherry, wild cherry and blackberry. At the end, a flavour of the dry fruit as walnuts and nuts, accompanied by vanilla. The mouth is round and intense, with a ground of thick and persistent pulp.” –Â Bertani
